No still waiting on the transmission and the rear end. The trans should be here in a week or so. I am getting the rear end from biggearhead and there is no rush on it. I won't be ready for it for a few months. Anyway it feels good to finally be making some headway on the car. I bought a scattershield 2 months ago and have a 621 bellhousing. Can't decide which to use. Maybe in a week or two I will actually be able to get it in the garage and start installing parts.

soundin' good !!! i did OK today... decided ta get the rustoleum and a brush... sat my lazy butt inna chair and got some paint on the shorty. i thought it looked good when we loaded it. the new paint makes even more of a difference. grabbin' the Goose on Monday... i'm gonna have ta save some paintin' fer her or i'll be in hot water...

didja get the rest a yer ceiling done ???

still researching truck info... tryin' anyways... i can't get online at the site i wanna check the 68 on... PITA Mods, lazy suckers, huh ???

i'd rather blame the Mods though... ya know they're a ruthless bunch

i need ta run to the parts house too... i'm thinkin' the DeVille discs "may" be big enough fer the rear of this... in comparison to the fronts.

i guess the caddy rotors are 5x5 whereas the T/A's are the same, but 5x4-3/4 there's a Caddy only bone yard out here. maybe i can get a disc set up... think it'd be OK with the front configuration ???

I would be done with work by now but had to much fun during the years I should have been putting away for the future. Of course the houses, cars and money the 3 ex's took hurt a bit too.

Wind has been blowing a steady 30 mph all day with gusts over 50. I got off work early to work on my truck and been indoors instead. I did get my taxes done. Our goverment on the state and federal level now have more money. lots more

strange day today...

went to the paint store ta get refund on supplies not needed... it's 2 doors down from a friends mechanic/radiator shop... i'm standing in the doorway of the shop, looking out to the street with my friend, watching it rain and checking out the people as they drive by...

here comes this guy in a late model Mustang... revvin' his engine... gonna park right behind the "Rust Bucket" HA !!! he HITS ME !!! pushed up my K20 about a foot (it's a stick, no damage) he smashes a hole in the nose of his Mustang on my hitch !!!

LOL !!! me & Burt are Busting up !!!

"Hey !!! looks like ya did about a thousand dollars damage ta my truck !!! How's YER car ???"

Hey Phillip... i won the WS6 T/A backing plates. i have ta send the guy a USPO MO and then confirm they'll fit the 68. i'm hopin'

Thursday/Friday (tenative) i'm checking into the ER... before i have a problem... more than i already have ya know

i'll call ya if/when anything happens.

congrats on winning the auction, now get your kiester to the Dr before something happens. My TKO is scheduled to arrive Thursday, so if you go to the ER now I can let you know when it gets here
