My Chevelle has a knarly 468 big block and my El Camino has a sleeper 383.
Both are very cool I think. The big block is loud and obnoxious with the 3" exhaust and Super-40 Flowmasters. The 383 is an iron fist in a velvet glove with killer aluminum heads and a mild hydraulic roller cam.
The C-10 is not on the road yet, but it will have a very cool 463 big block with all the trimmings and 3" 3-chamber Flowmasters!:beers:
498 incher. Stroked 454 70 over, water jackets intact.725hp on the dyno with stone age manifold and single 850 carb! Will be updating and adding some ponies there. TSI powerglide w 5800 stall coan, and brake........Gets kinda hairy on the street.
12.5 to 1 461 ported iron rect port gm heads, solid roller 269/276 @ .050 - 690 lift max rpm 7500. Purchased new in 1986, was a LS-6 crate motor originally. Now has more passes and has been disassembled more times than I can remember.Sure wish Santa would leave a 750 horse 572 under the tree
