I just found out about this site and wanted to stop in and say hi.

We have been working on our 72 for 3 years now and boy, is this a slow hobby.:clonk: Ours is a Father/Son project and the work makes for a great bonding experiance with my 27 year old son.

If you would like to check out our progress go here:

I like the car but I love the yard. Everything you did to improve the fun factor on your property is extremely cool. Man i'm jealous and wish I lived in a more temperate climate. Thank you very kindly for sharing the pictures.

Thank you all for your kind words. This is my first attempt at body work and sheet metal fabrication. I have more of a mechanical background and will be glad when the project reaches that point. In the mean time I have had a lot of fun learning new skills.

Thanks again....Steve

Thanks NIGHTSHADE!

You are the first to complement me on the documentation. I guess all those years at the dealership where documentation was drilled into my head every day is to blame for that. So as to possibly help others, I wanted a record of not only the work required but the thought processes and logic we used to build the car. Secondly, if I ever get the urge to do this again, I have a painfull reminder of how much work it is so I can talk myself out of it.:)

We have done a lot since the last photo's were taken and the entire trunk is about to go into epoxy primer so I need to catch up with the camera.

Thanks again...Steve
