John, that Lloyd with the olds engine is bitchin. I've seen that one before, and I always love looking at it. Was there a silver 32 coupe there running. It run's like low 10's? that's a buddy of mine. Just wondering how he did?

When I first came to California, the first guy I met was my good buddy Tom. he took me for a ride in his 1971 buick riviera with a 455 fuelie big block. it was a rolling five thousand pound monstrosity that guzzled asphalt and fuel in a trail of burning rubber. i loved it. after a few months of searching, i found a nova. i used it up to his place in Camarillo on the weekends to work on it with him and his dad for as long as i lived there. it was one hell of a great time. when we met, tom already sold his elky, and his dad had just recently finished the stude.

i haven't seen his dad since i left in 2002, but i finally met up with tom last october when he came out to georgia and we flogged the nova a few times. remember my burnout video? anyway, here's his riv.

one guy had an Excelsior (sp ?) bike from the early early teens... dialed in a 55 second run... he broke out ;) they were gonna give him the break out trophy... dunno if they did or not, but they announced they were...

lotsa these guys for the Antique run show up for the Rat Fink meet, it's next month... if ya have a shot of yer friend, i'd be happy ta keep an eye out for 'im...

9/10ths of a mile from LACR? good lordy! do ya even have neighbors? lol... i've only been there at night, i don't remember what's out there other than a gas station, and a field with a tractor in it hehe.

how is it living near a track? there was a nice piece of property here in GA that the g/f and i were thinking of but it's about a mile away from a clay 3/8th mile oval through some trees, lol. i hope all the new housing developments they're putting up next to that track doesn't close it. even though i find driving in circles about as exciting as rubbing my bare nipples with broken glass, a race track of any kind closing forever would still be lame.

i like the track myself... it's been here a while and i really don't think noise is an issue... maybe, but not that i've heard... i like hearin' 'em run... a nice sound in my ears ;) i have neighbors... there's 5 houses on my block ;) i LIKE livin' with the snakes & lizards :D

Yes Dave, that's the one... i thought it looked like a bug (not vw... but a bug) it really moved too... i'd have thought it'd be squirrelly, but it ran pretty straight...
