I retired today - 26 years of Active Duty Service - U.S. Air Force

Well the day has come. I retired today from from active duty service in the United States Air Force, 26 years and 12 days. Wo Hooooo! I am a Mister now! :hurray: :beers:

I can't wait for that day I only have 6 years and 10 months to go. My wife has 9 1/2 left; then we will be Mr and Mrs.

I retired from the navy in 98, yes there is life after the military, enjoy.

Welcome to the retired-military gang. I retired in 1993 after 20 years in the Army (with an eight year break in service). It's a little unsettling at first. All these people running around and nobody's in charge!
