Hi, I saw pics by 1badnov for a Gasser Front Clips but have been unable to contact him. Early 60's orange Nova listed at Fotki. Trying to find out who built it pertaining to the suspension. Any help would be appreciated. Thx Tom

you might be looking for Dale Snoke, "Teddisnoke" who runs "Snoke's Metal Shed" he has a Fotki image account. he builds AWB cars. he assisted with the HotRod magazine "Wilshire Shaker" along with quite a few others.

check at www.JollyRodder.com in the "Gassers" section and click on the link for "TheFunnyCarFarm" which is/was Dale's old company. (i haven't updated it since him becoming Snoke's Metal Shed)

Dale's phone number is listed at the website for TheFunnyCarFarm

hope i helped,

JR

Oh, OK... i just went and viewed 1badnov's profile and saw his fotki website http://public.fotki.com/1badnov/

i too have quite a few Gasser images, not as extensive as 1badnov though http://rides.webshots.com/album/559429288TNdBjZ

seems we both collect what images we find from the sources we find available... Dave has quite a bit more than i do. excellent albums for sure.

i see quite a few that are the same, mine and his... like i said though, he has quite an extensive collection.

i believe the source on the subframe is no longer available if it's Bill Thomas's unit. you can get the Speedway Motor's axle kit, steering parts and hubs & discs, also a subframe from Chris Alston's "ChassisWorks" and/or you can either build your own or contact Dale Snoke for info. Jim Meyer also has an axle kit http://www.jimmeyerracing.com/1962-67_Nova_Gasser_Subframe.html

there's a bit of info at www.JollyRodder.com in the Gassers section, images at Dave's site, images at my webshots site etc etc etc...

i hope i've helped.
