Doh, it finally hit me why I'm running too cool now...
While I was on my way to work this morning (I drove the Nova to work to show it off

) and staring the the temp gauge pegged at 165*, it struck me that maybe I'm not running the 180* thermostat I know I ordered.
I'm a thinkin' that I was sent the wrong one; a 165 instead of a 180. I'll have to yank it out to check, but that's the only thing I can think of that would cause my car not to get up to 180* anymore.
Is there any reasonable way a car can run cooler than the advertised thermostat opening temperature, assuming the thermostat hasn't been modified/drilled??
