Colors are standard Chevy Orange for the block. Raw cast aluminum for the intake and heads if the car in the movie had aluminum heads (otherwise heads are cast iron and painted orange as well). Chevy orange by the way is a red-orange color and fairly dark compared to say a Hemi orange which is closer to the color of the citrus fruit orange (grey added to tone down that red-orange hue).

All of the accesories that where painted (fans and brackets and A/C and P/S pump would be painted 40% flat black or semi gloss black called satin black. Spark plug wires if used where flat black, rubber cooling hoses where flat black, everything under the hood would be satin black (inner fenders raidator core suport and fire wall. the radiator when new was gloss black, but it was a dye that wore off exposing a brass radiator with time (have to use your imagination on a scale model but a few flecks of metalic copper paint might work as a wash). Car had a black air cleaner from the factory but the film crew stuck on an open chromed element (aluminized "chrome" duct tape would work for that)

Headers where rusted iron. The master cylinder for the brake same color. This is readily available in most military model paint sets. The vacuum booter was cadnium plated (a yellow tint or yellow with white added to it). Asside from colored electrical wires which where all wrapped with black plastic tape, and only occasionally showed, there were no other colors vissible.
