Only dreams right now, as you know my 63 is under construction. Currently it doesn't go too fast - I rolled her out into the sunlight yesterday for the first time in over a year. It felt good to see it sitting in the driveway instead of in the garage. Anywho, my plans are somewhat similar to yours. Hope to have a good handling street machine but it probably will not see service on the 1420. We'll enter it in shows and I'd really like to drive to NNN Nationals and some other big events across the country. Maybe someday meet up with other Team Nova and Steve's members along the way. It is a 2dr ht minitubbed with TCI front clip, and 4 bar-coil-over 3.70 - 9" rear. Plans most likely include a 383 with a 700r4, bench seat with a Lokar floor shifter and some decent tunes.
Any DOG can chase his tail!! Got to get the highest rate of speed in a short drive on a straight line!!!

And no 1/8 tracks either!!!

See the Flyer go roundy round, roundy round.

Watch him get dizzy and fall down!!!!
Straight line.......If I want feel g force..I'll jump in the Vette.

Right now the Nova is a Roller, I pulled the clip, doors, and emptied the junk. Its easier to push in a straight line that way. Much lower ET.
Since my car is quassi prostreet (12" wide rear rims with 3.5" wide front rims) I will have to decline on the salom part of the course and stick with the straight aways:thumbsup:

Ok...just remember I'm a stupid canucklehead here but what the heck is that supposed to mean?

he dunno... he USED ta live in the land of Fruits and Nuts... now he lives in the land of 100,000 lakes... and the poor boy can't swim...
I would LOVE to live somewhere where the water doesnt look like red mud and the summer temps are lower than 1,000,000 degrees kelvin. To me to have access to lots of clean useable water and to have summer temps that a human being can stand is well worth the price of winter...of course I now have to convince my wife of this:D

all about the drags for now. i suppose if i get rich and can afford a couple of toys i'll get a vette or something for the curves, but the nova is serving drag duty until a suitable replacement is found and the nova gets torn down for a full resto (3-4 years from now).

Opps....now I am red faced:eek:
I dunno, I was always a straight-liner myself, but wouldn't it be neat to show up some vinyl-graphic-clad Civic in an old heavy chunk of American steel?
