I read an artical years ago about converting a truck blower over to automotive use and it was quite involved if I remember correctly.....it needed different HD bearings and it had to be beefed up in a few different areas due to the higher rpms a automotive engine turns compaired to diesel motor...maybe someone else will have some first hand info.

usually guys point out that it would be a little cheaper and a lot easier to just buy the blower you want. I guess that's why these old diesel units are always at the swap meets.
