Does anyone have a pic they can post of a factory 4 speed/bench shifter handle? Were they the same for 68-70 Big Blocks. Any other applications for the shifter?

I can try to take a photo tomorrow and post to the site. As far as I know the 68-70 shifters are pretty much the same. Only minor difference is the lack of the reverse lock out rod on the 68 unit. Key was still in the dash in 68!

I have a pic of a 72ss original. If I knew how to post it I would be more than happy to. hpg

I'm not allowed to post attachments for some reason.

post it in the showroom then...I would love to see the pic:)
69novass,

I'm sorry I checked, mine is buckets, I thought it was bench.

I owned a 74 with a factory 3-speed in the floor with bench seats and a 350 under the hood. I thought it was unusual to have a 3-speed in the floor!!! hpg

That is quite a collection of Novas, very cool. I would like to see a good pic of the correct shifter handle out of the car. So big and small block handles were the same ?
Here is a picture of my 72 SS. Bench seats, rubber floor mats, 4 speed on the floor.
