Sounds like it's a one wire alternator, you can hook it up at the closest direct connection to the battery, I would say the large pole on the starter where the battery cable is connected.
well its a three wire internal with the red wire.how about connect to a 72 nova horn relay for power?
Yes, you could do that.
Yes, you could do that.
my positive cable to battery has second little plug attached to it can i just connect alternator red wire into that little pig tail?so that would be connecting red alternator wire into the battery, would i need a fuse link for that? or like i mention earlier red wire into horn relay would i need a fuse link for that connection as well? thanks
No fusible link and yes you can connect to that pigtail at the battery, you'll have direct charge to the battery.

after removing battery from trunk to front connect cables to battery when i add neg cable to post the car tries to crank, but no power to car at all no cranking wires still connected to kill switch though but i turn kill switch on still no cranking or power.
You have something hooked up somewhere to crank directly to the battery.

see pics of how car was before i removed everything except the alternator red wire, see pics below.if i remove jumper wire from starter then it will not crank if i connect neg bat cable.

WOW, looking at that if it was me I'd be ripping all that stuff out and start over the right way, the Ford solenoid is a good thing for direct 12V to the starter, but that's just me.

it all has been ripped out.
Great, just wire it all up factory and you should be good to go.(y)

i still have no power after doing that. something has changed since we removed all that rear trunk stuff.
Trace back your steps and check all grounds, you'll find it.
