No it is your car and you can put anything you want on it. I have seen 4x4 Novas you can walk under ,and 1967 Camaro cars that sit three feet high with Econoline I-beam front end and Ford nine inch in the rear with the exhaust come out through the fenders not under the car. Shoot I have even seen a pink Cadillac with Mary Kay written all over it. A cowl hood is plus in my book so long as you can see the road.

i got a 454 on it and the crowl hood looks killer. it gives the car a mean *** look..also is fiberglass so i saved a bunch of weight..
