hello....Does the original equipment clock for my 71 have an adjustment for Faster or Slower?

I believe if you just keep resetting it regularly it will slowly adj itself. This is only if its 100% factory.

that is correct.As long as you keep resetting the time the mechanism will adjust for the direction of the reset. It is a very small increment so it may take awhile to get dialed in.
