Heres a question for ya'll, Im not the most savy with automatic trannys so I need to know where to hook up my temperature gauge for my 700r4. Also whats the best opperating temp? ive heard that 160-200 is ok. I have an external tranny cooler but wonder if I shoudl use it in conjunction with my radiator? and if anyone has a diagram on how to run the lines doing so. thanks ya'll are great and help me keep my nova alive!

This is how I installed my temperature sending unit for my Autometer Pro-Comp mechanical 270° degree sweep transmission oil gauge.

This is how I mounted my external oil cooler for my 3800 RPM stall torque converter.

I made the mounting brackets out of an old street sign.

Thanks Big Dave, you always got a good answer. So heres on more for ya. Is a puller 1585 CFM 14" fan with a full aluminum shroud enough to cool a street 355ci pushing around 350 horses? I know alot of guys are against electric fans but I wanna give it a try.
