69 Nova Subframe Spacers

Looking For Some Info From A Nova Guru. I Am Doing A Partial Resto On A 69 Nova. I Am At A Loss To Locate The Spacers That Sit On Top Of The Front Subframe Bushing. According To The Assembly Manual, A Spacer Is Used (unlike Camaro) Atop The Front Bushing. Anyone Have An Idea Were These Can Be Purchased, Does Anybody Repo These?? Any Help Would Be Appreciated.

Welcome to Team Nova.
I can't answer your question but I am sure someone will before to long.
Philip ≠ Nova guru :p (I thought Philip was about as close as there was)

Are you sure its a spacer? About how thick is it? Or do ya have a pic of the old one? I dont recall my 74 having one :confused: It was the same as my 68 Firebird, if I remember correctly.
I dont see it in my 68 manual either. Now Im curious as to what these spacers look like. Anyone have a pic of one? Or an exploded drawing of it?:)
I'm Sorry, I Dont Have A Pic. The Assembly Manual Shows The Part As A " P Washer". I Assume It Is A Thick Washer/spacer (1/2" ??). I Know That Firebirds And Camaros Do Not Have Them, As I Have Never Seen One On The Many Cars I Have Disassembled/ Assembled.
Hey Guys, I located the spacers...they are thick metal (about 3/8") and install on the middle set of subframe bushings. It really does make a difference on how the core support fits etc.. Thanks, for the input.
Whered you find them and can you post a pic of them?

I've been looking into this as I am planning to replace my body mounts on the '72. Check the AIM page again... If it's like the '72, each mount gets a "P Washer" and it goes below the sub-frame and should come with the bushings. On the rad support mount there is a "Spl-Washer" (#2) That is used because the bolt goes in from the top. On the middle mount there is a spacer "spacer-spl" (#16) that goes above the upper sub-frame bushing and below the body...

Stacked it goes like this;

Core Support ...... Center Mount ...... Rear Mount
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
bolt ................ body (cage nut) ... body - cage nut
washer ........... spacer ................ cushion asm
cushion .......... cushion asm ........ sub-frame
core support ... sub-frame ........... cushion
cushion .......... cushion ............... washer
push nut ........ washer ................ bolt
frame ............ bolt
washer
lock washer
nut
