69 console temp gauge wiring

my floor console temp gauge is out do not know how to wire it back in i have a resister any pictures ?? or something please thank you.. i did not take it out??

and it has insulator that goes across 2 terminals and a small round insulator??? somebody got into console temp and amp gauge does not work
