Default Tire Size Help

Looking for suggestions (BF T/A):

1969 Nova SS 350 - 14x7 SS wheels with stock suspension

Like a full fender but not to the point of possible rub. Should I go with same size front and back or smaller on the front. Thanks in advance!!!!

Tim

with it being a 14" wheel you will probably find that the largest radial available from most manufactures is a 245/60/14 for the back and it will fit with plenty of room but not look too small. In the front you can go with a 225/60/14 that will be slighty narrower and 1" shorter or go inbetween to the 235/60/14

Might want to buy more than one set of tires while you are at it. The sellection of 14" tires are shrinking with time as there are fewer and fewer buyers out there who are not running 17 inch or larger wheels.

I am in total agreeance with Jay on the rear. P235-60 14's is a very popular 14" tire for the 68-72 Novas running 14's. I will easily fit ona 7" rim with the stock back spacing of a factory rim.

245 60R 14 Rear
225 60R 14 Front

Car does have 5-leaf spring and I plan on running air shocks. Should this combo give me a nice stance? Thanks!

Ok, I'm reading this with interest as I have Cragar SS wheels but are 15"........so I'm assuming a 245-15 60 is the largest tire I could use?

depends on your backspace. a 255/60/15 on the rear fits just fine with the right backspace.
