Default M22Z with 3.08 gears Review

First I would like to give thanks all the folks who help me with all the information I needed to come to the conclusion of choosing a transmission combination, and for all the great conversations, and Knowledge that they give on these types of forums. [email protected]'s Transmission,[email protected],and [email protected]
I finally buttoned up the installation of my M22Z and 3.08 swap yesterday and took my car on its first test run and all i can say is WOW. Everything that I have read in the forums about this combination is spot on. I'm coming from a m21-3.73 combination and as a lot of you will a test to this combination leaves a little to be desired. First the acceleration with that 2.20 1st gear is just okay, and the cruise rpm's are terrible. My new setup on the other hand with the M22Z 3.08 gives me the best of both worlds. I have more pick up speed through my first 3 gears and a 3.08 final drive, and did I mention that M22 sound is music to my ears. I more exited than ever for this years driving season, The far away car shows and car cruises with definitely be much more enjoyable experience.
