Welcome to the Team Maeco!

Get a molded top hose to rerplace the accordian pleated one you have on their now, and it will be just about perfect.

Nice ride 50!
The 700R4 will give you a 1 to 1 ratio in 3rd gear and a .67 or .70 to 1 in 4th gear (overdrive).

Swap it out with a 89 or newer 700R4, one with a 30 spline input shaft. The ones before 89 had lot's of problems.

You can pick up a NEW 700R4 for somewhere between 1k to 2k (monstertrans) or you can find one in a salvage yard or classified for couple of hundred.

Thanks guys but I read here some where that if I did this swap I also have to relocate my cross member and get a shorter drive shaft?if this is the case ill probably invest on disc brake convertion first.
