Thumbs up Re: Post Your Tremec Swap Questions for 1962 - 72

We just completed a TKO PerfectFit install to Al G.'s '67 ChevyII Nova SS. He got the kit, plus hydraulics.

Here is a glimpse of the media that we generated, which will be forthcoming. I took a series of pics and assembled this shot over the weekend.

Enjoy!

What happened to the video and write up? Is it still in the works? I am interested in this set up.

Hey Pete, the TKO installation is pretty much the same as for a Muncie except there will be floor modifications needed so the trans will clear the tunnel. what year car do you have ?

i have a TKO in my '64, i have friends who have a TKO in a '67 and a '75 and all are the same, floor mods to the tunnel.

it's not really a big thing so don't let that end of the upgrade bother you too-too much it's a Great upgrade to go with

welcome to Team Nova too

We can offer you the neck snapping shifts, manual valve body with engine braking and the torque converter specs you require. You`ll be just under 6 g`s with that package complete.
I would love to be able to use a TKO but it isn't rated high enough for my supercharged application.

That's why I'm leaning towards the Liberty or a ST 1200.
