Default An old renewed member. Bought my old Nova back !

Hello all. I don't think I've been here for almost 9 years. During the recession I had to sell my 64 Nova. The new owners had it for sale about 5 years ago and I lost track of it. Well last weekend I bought it back! Old pic dark teal. New pic metallic grey.

Thanks gang. The recession was a long tough road. I never thought I'd see the car again , let alone have the opportunity to buy it back. Luckily the new owners didn't change much with the exception of new quarters , paint and lexan windows. I will be changing the grille , headlight bezels etc that were painted black and replace them with "shiny stuff" lol. I'll also be putting an OEM windshield and door windows that roll up and down. Also I'm going back to pump gas small block. More street , less race.

Who's front end is that? Looks to be exceptionally well made.

Smith Racecraft. It is undoubtedly the best oneon the market. This version is more race/street. Their other version is full on race. All their work is exceptional

When I'm done with it this time around you won't even recognize it. Also Ive bought parts to build a pretty stout but simple pumpgas BBC. That's the main reason for the Smith Racecraft front clip. I got lucky and found someone's unrealized unfinished BBC. Dart big M block. Manly billet rods , Mahle pistons , Callie's crank all fresh from the machine shop for a song. Then found a pair of Dart 345 aluminum heads and Jesels for a song as well. Sooo....I'm almost finished putting together the now 509 BBC. Probably be 720 horse 650 torque on pumpgas all happening between 3800-6300 rpm. Next on the list is a custom set of Lemons stainless steel headers
