Default 66 Setd too low, front and rear

My buddy has a 66 2dr post with 327, 4 speed. He rebuilt the car from the ground up replacing the front and rear springs with new from Classic Industries. The front springs he used were listed as V8 station wagon.

He doesn't like the ride height. It is too low. We have looked at different front springs from a chart listing from MOOG looking at different lengths, trying to stay in the same inner diameter, bar diameter and end type, comparing spring rates etc. Ones that look promising is springs from early 70's Nova that are about 1" taller free height and 33 lbs increased spring rate over the stock springs.

Has anyone done a coil spring swap to raise the front about 2" and not make it too stiff. He wants to keep it looking stock so coil overs is not an option.

The rear he plans using air shocks as they were an option available from GM.

Thanks.
