68-72 hood fits onto 73 no problem minus the trim difference which you already know about. All good.

So the issue was the car had a bill of sale from Mississsippi, which never had record of the vehicle...so, in California, the first thing is that you stole the car. I had to laugh when they said it...

the elco has a wider rear end. It would need to be cut down to fit. Easier/cheaper to remove the spool and put a tru-trac in it.
