Re: Are 62-67 front spindles all the same ?

Bill the 62 and 63 use 4 lug wheels and the spindles and steering arms are different from the 5 lug set up used 64 - 67. The 5 lug spindles and steering arms are needed to do any disc brake swap.

Re: Rear Wheel Well Help please

Hard to tell from the photos but it may not be undercoating. The factory sprayed a sound deadener in places like wheel wells and along the rocker panels and above the transmission. If it is in good...

Re: Input on potential nova purchase

Did Big Dave PM you? He hasn't posted in this thread

Seriously it is way overpriced for the build and condition of the car.

Re: Tires

What model wheels do you have? Most of the 7" wide 1 piece wheels only have 3.76" of backspacing.

Re: Tires

What is the backspacing on the wheels? This would be the biggest limiting factor.

Re: Vintage Air A/C & Heater Hose Mount

Dave he is asking about heater hoses. 2 of the 4 ports in the bulkhead connector are for heater coolant connections to the Vintage Air unit. The other 2 are for the AC lines.

Re: 1967 Nova

When buying an engine stay away from online sources. Crate engines can be purchased through GM dealerships in your area. If wanting a custom build have it done locally in case a warranty issue arises.

Re: Are seat belts required by law in a 69 Nova?

Mark your car came with 3 point belts in the front and lap belts in the rear. The mounting point is there as well as the ones in the floor. The floor holes can be located easily by poking a pointed...

Re: Vintage Air A/C & Heater Hose Mount

The screw on connectors for the heater hoses come with the kit when you order that bulkhead fitting. They look like the AC hose fittings but do not have a crimping collar.

Re: Is my 1970 Nova rear seat correct?

The rear seat upper and lower should fit tight against the door panels. That one does not appear to be correct. Might be from a 4 door.

Re: New cam , springs and lifters making noise

Pull the valve covers and watch the rocker arm movement with the engine running. If your cam is going flat less lift on those lobes will be easy to see.

Re: Decode a 454 engine block

What are your plans for the engine? Not sure why you are concerned with the exact origin. The important thing is how it is built now or how you plan to build it. 73 is a good year for castings, may...
