Re: 1967 Nova Ls Swap questions

Welcome to the Team!

Who ever made your Mustang II front end most likely has an LS conversion kit for sale as well. Generically Holley sells generic kits with everything you will need in one box....

Re: T56 swap floor board reinforcement

Only one thing comes to mind: f=ma.

Re: T56 swap floor board reinforcement

Half inch plate? Are you building an APC?

If you don't have a tubing bender (and I didn't for a long time using telephone poles or what ever round objects I could find to make bends) you cut the...

Re: My 70 project

That repair is old, because they were using a stick welder. Looking at the blobs probably a Sears Our Finest! Man I would be embarrassed to have that attributed to me, not to mention stacking square...

Re: My 70 project

Welcome to the Team!

Need to support the brake lines. Can't leave them hanging in mid air like that. You are going to need a fan shroud for your plastic fan to work correctly. Other wise a great...

Re: Too low

At least those won't fall off. Wonder why the put the coil over on the top A-arm instead of the normal bottom with a strut welded to the frame to support the top of the coil over.

What you have...

Re: Too low

And all along I assumed you were using a Mustang II front end to get coil overs. How much of the original front suspension (with it's eccentric washers used to align it; that never stay put) did you...

Re: 63 hardtop door alignment

Welcome to the Team!

Since the vent window assembly is removable there is a means for adjustment. BUT if you move one thing something else has to move. These cars were never show pieces when new....

Re: Holley 4150 Quality issues

Me neither. Usually you control the opening rate by changing the Secondary Diaphragm Spring (Holley Kit Number 20-13) in the vacuum diaphragm. I recommend buying the Quick Change Cover (Holley Part...

Re: 1972 nova seats

Nova seats are the same as Chevelle seats except for the tracks that fit the Nova floor pan.

The button you are describing would be the head rest height adjuster which implies they are out of a...

Re: Holley 4150 Quality issues

There is no restrictor in the vacuum line to the secondary diaphragm. The check ball is a blow out protector for the power valve that was added after racers starting modifying their Holleys for years...

Re: Holley 4150 Quality issues

That is a standard press-in brass air jet for the metering bloc. It mixes air with gas in the emulsion tubes inside the metering block to correct the air fuel mixture to meet demand based upon vacuum...

Re: 4 door exhaust what fits?

No difference in wheel base between the two cars. A dual exhaust has an extra hanger welded to the "frame" that a single exhaust doesn't have. Other wise any exhaust will fit. Factory OEM was sourced...

Re: Choke Thermostat for '63 194 Inline 6
