Thanks guys, all went good, walked 800ft pain free after 6hrs, again this morning then again tonight starting tomorrow 4 times a day 1000ft+

Getting Fixed!

Well guys, back surgery today at 1:00pm(screws and rods) so I'll be gone for a bit, let you guys know how it went after I wake up and can see the keyboard.:D:thumbsup:

Could be a sticky valve after sitting a long time, might want to run it for a while and let the fluid get hot, that sometimes will free a sticky valve, next thing would be to...

I used your info and stop plate method, easy deal and works great and ALWAYS use full manifold vacuum....

You probably missed it, what oil filled coil do you recommend?, there's a lot of crap out...

Ye, the bolt on's are way heavier made, the race hoods are flimsy and use pins or Zeus fasteners to hold them in place, no provisions for hinges and latch.

I know a few people that have the street hood, none have any issues with cracking and had them for a few years now, definitely don't want to run the race hood on the street..

It's direct current to the solenoid instead of going through the whole system, it's as if you took a screw driver crossed terminals on the solenoid, been doing this to all my GM vehicles for better...

It's called heat soak, hook up a remote Ford solenoid for direct voltage,that usually cures the issue.

Fusible link wire is also wrapped in a special high temp insulation that will not melt and catch fire before the wire melts and breaks contact.
