What I believe to be the orig rear for my '72 Nova is "JG" also, it's "JG G098 2" it gas a 2.73, 15/41 open in it. I'll bet we both have JB's with a poor stamp...

Big bumper '74's and newer are real soft, in fact the nova market is a bit soft over all. I paid $6500 for my '72 and have about another $1500 into it... (floors and interior work)

Yes it's quite do-able... The stock drum spindle needs the top boss machined so a claiper mounting bracket can be bolted to it. If you use a disc spindle you need to make a spaceer for the top...
