I know quite a few people who use DB Electrical out of Tennessee 0n 500+ engines with no issues at all, and some use Powermaster with all kinds of problems, maybe it's luck who knows, but they all...

Did you do any tuning after the conversion?, with a good system usually some tuning is necessary to get the full benefit of the new exhaust system.

It was mandated that they were installed in all vehicles, but there was no law about wearing them at that time.

It varies by state but for the most part I think around mid 80's when it actually became a law, could be wrong though???..

It's on a 75 with the original stock small block and it does have a nice deep tone to it, just as nice as a crossover IMO. I didn't really want the Magnaflows and I didn't pick the X over the...

A 383 is a stroked 350 no outside difference, no problem with the hood closing, unless you plan on a tall intake or something.
