I have decided to pick the RAM 1511 flywheel for my Nova. it seems to meet the criteria. 26 # not 30# but probably close enough.

Thanks Dave. So knowing what we know do you think I can get by with the 10.5 flywheel in the chevy 2 bell housing that I gather was designed for a 10.4 clutch. I wonder if the OD of the 10.5 clutch...

OK Dave , one more question. As best I can tell the 64 v8 Nova probably came with a GM number 3971021 flywheel. Appx 30 pounds 12.75 o.d.and fit 63 or so on up the small blocks into early 70's.

Man I appreciate the help but I have one of the original Chevy 2 bell housings with the 7:00 clutch fork location. I may be wrong (Hope I am) but I think I have to use a 153 tooth flywhweel. The one...
