I've tubbed my car and now the windows only go down about half way before they hit the wheel tubs. Keeps me from getting them down too far and getting stuck... ;)

If you get a wrecked engine from a boneyard and it is drive by wire (electric motor that controls the throttle body instead of a throttle cable), try and get the ECU and Pedal assembly from that same...

Rustfarmer,

You are correct, the "LS1" cannot use the L92 heads. Unfortunately many people call any LS engine an LS1 when in fact they may have a 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 or any other non-LS1 engine.

The performance issues with the TH350 is the 2nd gear drum and sprag. Make sure that if you are going to put the trans behind anything with some good torque (your 383 for example) that you replace...

In your example of a 427 SB vs a 540 BB with the same power and torque, the small block will make its power at a higher RPM vs the big block. The big block will also be a more mild mannered engine...
