Right on thanks man, looks like I'll just use the TH350 crossmember. Maybe soon I'll be able to take it for a spin.

Re: Having a brain fart regarding engine/trans mou

The headers clear everything with room to spare, the issue we're having is that the fuel pump smacks the frame when using the BBC frame stands. The SBC stands will solve that problem but then the...

Re: Having a brain fart regarding engine/trans mou

Really? I swear I had heard that it would throw the driveline off due to the TH400 sitting over an inch to the passenger side. If that's all I need I'll get right on it, thanks man!

Re: S10 rear end with Disc brakes in 63 nova?

The s-10 7.5 rears will take a little pounding if they're done right. I was into s-10s for a while and helped put together an 01 s-10 which has a procharged ls swap for a friend. The truck runs in...

Re: Body work help

Patch panels are excellent as long as they are installed correctly. I've seen alot of them just tacked in and after a while they start to look messy. I prefer to fully weld any kind of patch just to...

Re: Body work help

If the factory fenders are repairable I would hang on to them. Alot of companies make patch panels to repair the typical rust damage. From my experience alot of the aftermarket panels are hit or...

Re: Painters,I need help with gun

8-10 psi at the air cap sounds right but not at the regulator. If your inlet pressure is 8-10 psi good luck.

Re: Painters,I need help with gun

I've got a 1.4 tip in my gun and it works just fine for metallics. I've seen some guys use 1.3s and some 1.5s or bigger depending on the size of the flake. Correct overlap is crucial to avoiding...

Re: Painters,I need help with gun

Metallics can be touchy and air pressure and spray method have a big effect on how they turn out. What are the issues you're having with spraying metallics?
