Description: This is what is referred to as a “Chevrolet Engine”, “Counter Exchange” or “Warranty Block” more commonly called a “CE” block.

This “Fitted Block” is brand new and NOS and has never been built or put in a car.

A Fitted block can come in different configurations (I am sure that there are terms for each type). This block is the complete lower end, and is the correct, direct LT1 warranty replacement for a 1970 350 4 Bolt Main application for a 1970 Camaro Z28, Corvette LT1 or Yenko Deuce. It is 11:1 Compression Ratio.

All of the above parts are correct for the 370 HP LT1 Hi Performance 350 4 bolt main replacement motor for the above applications.

This motor is dated “L”, December 29, 1970. It is a correct and direct warranty replacement motor for any 1970 dated LT1 car. It would also work in a very early 1971 application as well.

Suffix: CEA129749
Casting: 3970010

Date: L 29 0 (December 29, 1970)

Pistons: PN 3959456 (TRW impact extruded pistons, 11:1cr)

Cam: PN 3972182 or 3972178 (cant see the cam number, from www.nastyz28.com)

Main Caps: 3861 GM 348

LT1 "pink" rods. 5.7", 6th design, forged steel, shot peened, magnafluxed, heat treated, high RPM rod bolts
