This is posted on craigslist in Seattle, Washington:
1967 Chevy II 2d Sedan (post).
This car has been in the same family since purchased new 50 years ago, and driven by my mother until she stopped driving around 25 years ago. Always garage stored, this is the classic "barn find" that has not really been moved or touched for at least 20 years. We have the original title from 50 years ago.
The interior is in excellent original condition, and the seats were covered with plastic seat covers for most of it's life. The near perfect condition of the inside is what differentiates this car from others.
The outside is in fair condition, has always been garaged, and has original paint. It has some dents and scrapeswhere mom got into some minor fender benders before she decided to stop driving. Tires are flat from non-operation, and we haven't attempted to fix it or start it. The garage is sort cramped and dark, so I only focused on sections of the car that were not "perfect", showing the many dings and dents.
UPDATE: It also has some rust on the bottom, including a hole, underneath the car, behind the driver's seat. I have recent pictures of some of this rust that I can share on demand.
This was the 2d Sedan (100 series, I think) of the Chevy II/Nova Family that year. Not many of these were made. Engine is original 6 cylinder, 250.
This car wasn't driven very much in its life, and only has 51,890 original miles.
Mom is now in a nursing home, so we need to maximize the sales price to help pay for expenses, so please no responses from people expecting to buy it for an extreme lowball price. Looking for offers in the $7k range (or above).
If interested, let me know, and I can send you links to an updated set of pictures of this car. If, after seeing the pictures, you still feel that you value this car in the $7k range, please work with us to schedule a viewing of the car. I haven't scheduled viewings from my previous ad, because I think that the new pictures of the rust below the car may affect the attractiveness to previous respondees (so if you are still interested after seeing the new pictures, please respond to this ad).
Car is located in city of Seattle, Washington.
The one restriction: We will only sell, in person, in Seattle WA.....no shipments, etc.
