66 Nova console

I am trying to put a console back in my nova but I am not sure if my floor is right. Does my floor need a hump like the one i see in the books for the
3and4 speeds because my car doesnot have a hump. Is there any way I could get a picture of a auto car floor so I can see what I need.

Your floor is flat? I had to have a hump in mine to get the transmission to fit.

I don't have any pictures! but there is a Automatic floor shift hump and you probably need one that's were the shifter bolts you may be able to use a 4 speed hump as a subsitute with some mods or it might work with an aftermarket shifter there's a 4 speed hump on ebay now! the auto humps hardly ever show up the opening for the automatic just have a smaller opening! but the hump is going to put the shifter in the right spot and make it all level which is how it has to be! hope this helps!
