I got a 67 Chevy II Nova that was a 6 cyclinder car.I put a V8 in it and needed a lager radiator. I purchased an aluminum Rad. that was suppose to drop right in but my core support was too small. Can anyone tell me is a V8 core support different than my 6 cyclinder core support?
There is no difference between the core support in 67 between a 6cyl and an 8cyl. The radiator openings are exactly the same size.
The bolt spacing for the radiator mounts is exactly the same also. The 6cyl radiators just had wide metal flanges attached to the factory radiator to make it wide enough to bolt into the core support holes. The OEM style V8 radiators bolt directly to the core support right near the tanks.
