Re: is it possible to replace rear wheelhousing? 69 nova.
well its still a pain and some of the spot welds may be in very hard to reach locations...there should be welds located on the juntion between the inner and outer wheel well, between the outer wheel well and the quarter panel lip, and I would suspect a few where the outer meets the floor...just use a angle grinder with a twisted wire wheel to find all of the welds and drill them out...having something to slip between the joints is handy too...hope this helps....BTW there may be welds in places I didnt mention...

No you can't replace the inner unless you section it in as it won't slide back in. You need to do it on a rotisserie, and piece it in. Not an easy task.

ahhh...that makes sense so you have to slice it into peices so you can make it fit in....Ya that sounds like a bear of a job......Might be best since he has rust on the quarter lip to get some skins for the quarters while he is at it...and put the wheel houses in then...just a thought...sorta kill two birds with one stone...I know full qyarters are expensive but skins are not too bad at all in price..
