Default Pro body guys... need 2nd opinion

Just got an estimate from a guy..... charge the paddles to 360 I'm in full arrest.

I won't list everything just this example:

Cut out old patch on roof and A pillar; weld in good salvaged original sheet metal... one complete piece.
All joints to be butt welded and smoothed; me/owner to do final filler work.

Estimated time 12 hrs.
His hourly rate is $35 and keep in mind he's doing this out of his home garage as a side job.

I'm thinking 2-4 hrs .

Just remember the guy doing in his garage probably will not guarantee any of his work like a shop would so beware trying to save money might cost more than you think...

Less than 6.

Removing an a pillar is more difficult than it sounds, but 12 hours is a lot....You run into issues if you don't support the body as the A pillar is kind of important for the structure of the car.
