I'm replacing my double pumper with a vacuum secondary carburetor.I would eventually like to use this dp again for some weekend racing at the drag strip. What's the best way to store a carb that may not be used for 6months or so?Is all that's required is draining the gas out of the fuel bowls or is there more to it?thanks in advance:beers:

I take them apart and blow dry them, silicone spray the bowl/metering block gaskets, accelerator pump and any rubber parts I use Marvel, put it back together loose so gaskets don't get squished.. I had a carb that I forgot about that sat for about 8 years and all I did was tighten everything up and it worked like it was when I put it away!.. WD works good also but do not use the spray use bulk in a squirt bottle, the propellant attacks rubber I found that out the hard way!!!...
