I am going to rebuild a 350 soon. But am going to keep it as stock as possible, it's a number matching engine, so I don't want to mess with it too much.
So far my plans are:
New rod and main bearings, hopefully can do all of this without pulling the pistons
New cam - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/LUN-60102LK/
Gonna port match the intake and the 882 heads.
Probably going to get the heads surfaced, new guides put in, and a 3 angle valve job
Then I will more than likely pocket port and do a short side radius on them myself with a bowl blend.
I know it's a lot to do to 882 heads, but since I want to keep it stock, but have it perform I am just gonna do it anyway.
New springs, and some roller tip rockers.
Gonna keep the stock ram horn exhaust manifolds.
Stock cast iron intake manifold
Compression should come in at about 9:1
Stock 750cfm q-jet

How much power you think I would be putting out? DD says about 315hp and 340ftlbs
