Does anybody know a good place to look for a rear window crank and it's inner workings, for a '63 wagon? It seems that something in mine isn't catching. It'll roll down and up but only if I take the lock out and align everything with a screw driver, and crank it with the screw driver holding things in place! What a pain! I've looked all over and as a whole the wagon tailgate area doesn't get much love as far as parts are concerned. Any clues?

other than a bone yard or a classified ad at the ChevyII web forums i have no sources...
maybe this info will be of assistance:

this thread also "kinda" looks like a classified as it is, so what i'll do is "Copy" it and place it in the Classified section... being it's also a thread looking for possible repair info, i'll leave it here in hopes someone might have some repair info for you. (other than what i've posted)
i'm hoping i'm helping ;)

I have a rusted out '63 tailgate with all the insides if you want it and I go thru seattle twice a month. For a complete rust free tailgate I bought one from Fremans Auto Parts http://www.fremansauto.com/ in Montana
