71 Nova 2 door... I am about to start the body work and try to get mt car back on the road sometime this summer! The fender are off and I've cut out all the rust, so now I just need to get some pieces and cut/fit and re-weld. I need the pieces for the fenders that go behind the front wheel from the wheel opening to the door edge, approx. 12" high from bottom.
I've seen several parts supplies that carry them, like Classic, but does anyone have experience good/bad on who has good quality panels?
Any tips/advice is welcome!
Thanks,
Bill C.

I purchased a right side, lower, behind the wheel patch for my 1970 from Classic Muscle(Modern Chevrolet). The patch panel is better than having to make a panel from sheet metal, but the fit is not that good. It will take some hammering and altering. One positive thing is the patch panel is very sturdy.

Well if your going to mail order them you might try the site sponsor at www.ss396.com or just clicking on the link at the upper right hand corner of the page. Otherwise see if you have a local distributor. They all get their parts pretty much from the same places which are Goodmark and Dynacor.

Thanks for the tips so far...
I did try Ground Up, but according to their web site, they have almost no sheetmetal and nothing to do with fenders or quarters.
Anyone else have a suggestion?
Thanks,

Price, $49.95 ea. Quality? I just happen to have their latest catalog, so I really don't know. This is what says in the description; "Exceptional quality reproduction patch panels for these commonly rusted out areas on the rear lower fender. All panels are offset for easy of installation". My 2¢
