This is a barn find or more like a lean to find. First six digits in the vin code are: 1X27K2. I may be wrong on the "K", but I'm pretty sure that's what it is. I will try to take some pics tommorrow and post this weekend. It is silver in color, has the SS hood, grill, steering wheel and taillight panel. It has front disc brakes. It has 350 emblems on fender and a manual trans. I'm not sure what one. Car has been hit on passenger front fender and got into the hood a little. Car has '85 plates and looks like it has been sitting that long. Any way to tell for sure if this a true SS. I would bet due to how long it's been sitting it is, but you never know. I looked under the trunk and it looks real solid. Does have some rust, but not too bad. I noticed some in the bottom lip of the trunk lid and some primer on the front drivers fender. Car has a 10 bolt rear. Just wondering what would be a good price assuming I can get it bought and a title is available. Thanks and great site!

The "K" in 1972 designates an SS car.

without pics it's hard to tell. not to offend but if it's been hit and is rusty/rusted out in places... who knows. won't be a candidate for Barrett~Jackson or Pebble Beach that's for sure ;)

see if you can get some decent pics. maybe we can help you then.

What transmission would this car have came factory with, being a manual? Thanks
