I have the factory floor shifter console with the four gauges in it. I will put a pic at the bottom so you can sort of tell which one. The factory shifter is loose as he!! and I want to change to a B&M Starshifter or something similar. Has anyone done this with this console? I don't want to have to drill or cut on the factory one if I don't absolutely have to, but I need to get a better shifter before I screw something up.......
PS the linkage is not a cable, can I do a direct switch to a cable linkage like the ones that come with the aftermarket shifters?

The B & M Quicksilver is my favorite street shifter. They do make a console model for Camaros. I think you can get it to fit your car.
