I purchased a 67 with a 502 big block. The radiator fan combination was inadequate to keep it cool. Any advice on what will fit and will handle 502hp? Also, I only have 6" from the radiator support to the water pump pulley. I assume I will need a twin fan which will have additional clearance between the fans. Appreciate any leads. Thanks.

How about a generic Summit 380325 radiator, clutch fan and shroud? That will easily cool your engine at any horsepower level you can sustain.

Problem is he has a '66 instead of a '68. The opening in the radiator core support is smaller and radiator has to bolt to the core support (just like the old upright core tank on top radiators) instead of sitting in a saddle designed for a cross flow. Then there is the problem of a big block stuffed were a four cylinder used to be.
I had to use a radiator out of a 1963 one ton V-6 truck in my 1967 Chevy II with a BBC 427 installed. Radiator hung down below the core support in mid air (well below the bumper), and covered nearly the entire front core support, just fitting between the lights. This forced moving horns, relays and rewiring but it stayed cool. I replaced that heavy brass radiator with a Corvette aluminum radiator which did not fit as well (which also leaked) requiring a lot of street sign aluminum sheet stock to be welded to the raditor to mount it (probably why it leaked). This was back in the day before aluminum radiators and electric fans were common and one had to improvise.

We sell PRC radiators which are very similar too Ron Davis at 2/3rd the price. We can get a down flow or crossflow with fans that should be able to handle your 502. Give us a call next week and we'll get you a price.
