View Full Version : 1971 nova ss all original did i pay too much????
kjs427 Jan 27th, 09, 09:59 PM hello i probably should of asked befor i bought it , im new here and all but i need your opinion . i just bought a 1971 nova ss for a father son project Its is supossed to be a true ss but im not sure 100 % BUT it is 100 pecent original and complete that is for sure !!!!!!!!!!!, it is silver with black viynal top (original paint), 350 automatic 4bbl ( has a chrome stock style lid on stock air breather is that factory????) , a/c, power steering, power brakes, counsole with the 4 gauges in it, tach in the dash, bucket seats , floor shifter ' t' type with big button on the top of it , posi trac trim down the side, ss grill 350 on the fenders ss trim across the tail panel car does need restored, floors are great, doors and fenders great , trunk is great , quarters well it could use lowers, the car runs exellent never been apart 72k original miles ,this car is complete but it is a small block nova , bought from the 2nd owner gave 2500.00 for it seemed fair maybe a bit much ???? not a nova guy my son loves the novas, and been out of it for a long time prices have gotton a bit steep for project cars from back when i was building them !!!!!!!!!! http://s286.photobucket.com/albums/ll118/blown427/

71BBNOVA4sp Jan 28th, 09, 01:06 PM when you say but it has a small block thats all that comes in 71 no larger cid engines. to really make sure if you want to know if it is a true SS, look for the build sheet, most of the time it would be under the rear seat or on top of the gas tank, have seen one inside the headliner also good luck
