72 Nova, with 15x7 rallys (probably a 4.5 backspacing?)
Currently the car has 215/65's on all 4 corners, they look too short and skinny to me.
What is the largest (tallest/widest) Must stay on these wheels
for the front ?
for the rear ?

The front I'd say 235/60-15 and the rear 255/60-15. Some people run 275/60-15's on 15x7 wheels, but they really need to be on 15x8's. The 235 on the front may rub a little though, it's the same height as the 215/56, but about an inch wider. The 255/60 is about an inch taller and about an inch/inch and a half wider. They look good on these cars.

Thanks !!!
The 255/60 for the rear is what I was thinking too.
I have 275/60 on 8" wheels on the rear of my 70 chevelle, and I feel they might look to big on the Nova for my taste.
I would really like to avoid having any rubbing at all, is anyone else running 235/60 on 7" rallys in the front ?

i ran a 275/60 on a 15x7 with stock bsp and it never rubbed..i have a pic if you would like..if it were on an 8" rim you might have some rubbing issues

Were you running air shocks with the 275's ?
My car does currently have air shocks, but that is one of the things I hope to change soon.

A 275/60/15 tire on a 15 x 8 rim will fit fine without rubbing issues. I've clearanced (rolled) my fender lips but that's more for the 10" wide slick I run when racing the car. The 275/60/15 tire will work fine on a 15 x 7 rim as well, but it looks better on the 8" rim IMHO. Pics are on my webshots page in the link in my sig.
