I was out doing some shopping and my hubby decided he was going to surprise me and start installing my shifter today! I am super excited -it is alot different than the other summit shifter we had before and didnt like. It sits alot taller like the old school hot rods. I love it and cant wait to start driving it, even tho I am still learning :yes:! He is a wonderful husband for helping me work on my car, had to brag :thumbsup:Wanted to post the pics but I cant find the dang folder---maybe tommorrow:confused:

Stacie, i guarantee ya you'll like the Hurst better than the Summit just because of quality. i saw the pic Jon posted and my only recomendation would be to get a shorter handle in the future. it'll make the "throw" much shorter and more comfortable...

That came out real nice. Cut some of that riser part out of the handle and weld it back together until you can get a new handle.

Nope not scary-why would it be??????okay so jon likes to drive her fast and I really really wanna too---but I havent had the traing to drive the stick shift in the car yet much-due to snow and ice....maybe tommorrow but I doubt it we will be busy most of the afternoon.Maybe a shifter handle with skulls and cherrys?cherrys for the eyes????lol:hurray:pin up babe car just for me!!!!!:yes:
