I recently picked up a 1970 Nova. Its mostly stock, nice and clean inside and out. Its got a 388 stroker and rebuilt TH350. Everything else appears to be stock. The motor has a Crane BlueRacer cam, tunnel ram and 2 650cfm 4 barrel carbs. I traded my replica fiberglass '27 T roadster rat rod for this nova. The rear wheels are not as wide now. What is this car worth?

my first thought would be... are ya happy with the trade ?

if you're happy then the price was right regardless of value to others.

Hi Greg. It's a nice looking Nova. It's hard to tell what there worth right now with this economy and the muscle car market down in certain areas and of course Barrett/Jackson messed it all up!! JMHO:cool: Look at it as a savings account that is always going up and the best part is you can just sit and look at it and drool:D. A few years ago the muscle car market was averaging between 17%-32% a year. While your money market or savings account were around 8% or lower. It will be that again in a few years and you wont have to kick yourself and say--i should of got that nova when----.

I'm very happy with the trade, and the other guy is too. I'm asking what it's worth because I want a 2nd gen Nova or even a 1st gen, so I'd like to have idea of what I can expect to get for this car. I'm torn between selling it fast and trying to find another nice Nova I can afford, or just doing some mods to this car. I know I'll enjoy this car, but you know how it is when there is something else specific that you want.

Maybe it would be best to just convince the wife it best to buy another Nova now while the prices are low.
