I have been looking for a engine for my 1970 nova ss and have found a 1966 327 motor intake to pan for 225 with fuelie heads and all. i'm not sure it runs but its worth more then this right.

i'd say it depends on bore size... if it's a standard bore engine i'd say YES, but it'd not be worth anything to me if it was already .040 or .060 over.

just an opinion, take it as you will. a couple years ago i was searching for a std 327 and i got tired after looking, looking and LOOKING. i finally pulled (what i thought was) an original 327 out of my '66 Bel-Air. ended up being .030 :( so now i have a fresh, fresh .060 327 ready to go ;)

ended up selling the Bel-Air :(

additional thought for your consideration...

that 327 used a short water pump and all the accessories were hung off the block... the '70 model used a tall water pump and all accessories were hung off the heads.

you install that 327 in yer car with the early heads and the brackets will need to be customs instead of factory style brackets... just something to consider ;)

its only worth what you willing to pay for it, not a penny more :noway:

Its a stamped 66 327 block with fuelie heads. which are high performance heads back then. i seen it in a junk yard on the motor racks i bought a 355 chevy motor so i wont be buying the 327.
